Pisa Street Art from Summer of 2008

When I was traveling Europe in 2008, I was taking pictures of graffiti I saw along the way.  To be honest, most of the graffiti was pretty generic.  This one artist stood out to me.  These images were done on plywood that separated the sidewalk from construction going on.  Apparently in Italy many street artists paint on these free wood canvases.  It is even encouraged at times.

His name is Tommaso Santucci.  This art really captured my attention.  Does it capture yours?

This art also captured the attention of the World Graffiti blog.  This art was featured in June on their webpage when I had it posted on my old webpage.

  1. Still loving these pics, bit of a Keith Haring vibe I reckon. Too sick!
